Star Child

Well, our teacher Ángel told me to write an article about the show we saw last Friday, called Star Child. He told me to write it in English if I could, so yes i´m going to write this in English.

The show "Star Child" was about a woodcutter that found a baby while he was working on the forest, but he wasn´t a ordinary baby, because he was the child of a star! He shined a lot, the woodcutter thought he was gold! But he noticed he wasn`t, so he took him to his house because he knew that if he would left the poor child in the forest he would die of coldness. When he taked him home, her wife felt a little angry because they couldn't feed their own sons,so how they would feed another mom´s child? She felt angry but she finally understood the situation of her husband and they finally look after him. The wife of the woodcutter found a necklace in the neck of the child and kept.

The years passed, and he became more beautiful, but he became very rude; he thought he was the best child in the village, the most smart, the most intelligent, the most well dressed, the most handsome.....he was the most proud.

One day,the woodcutter talked about her son with her wife and the real mum of the star child hear it, so she asked if he was born 10 years ago,and the woodcutter said yes, so she said that he was her son,the woodcutter didn`t believe her at first, but she showed her necklace to him and said that she left him in the forest with the same necklace as her, so he believed her and told the star child that he found her real mother.

The star child got excited and went out to see her mother.

When he go there, she said she was her mother but he said he only saw a old ugly beggar and that he didn`t want to see her face again.

Her mother went to the forest and cried.

The star child went with his friends but when he came there they called him ugly face and told him he was ugly.

He looked in the mirror confused and noticed he became ugly.

He sad told his mother how to be beautiful again and the mother told him the beauty was inside people,so he became a good person and even he was ugly ouside, he was happy because he became beautiful inside.

I think this story is beautiful and has a very important meaning, congratulations to Oscar Wilde for writing this beautiful story.
